The Power of Prayer

Convergence has begun an open Mid-day Prayer Service Tuesday through Saturday, at 12:00 - 12:15 pm. We pray daily for our church and arts community, our leadership, local schools, hospitals, senior and daycare centers, businesses, neighbors, residents and civic leaders of the City of Alexandria, our nation and our world.

We welcome anyone and everyone to join us as we pray and take requests for prayer. This is one way the Church at Convergence seeks to be a spiritual resource to the artists on campus, all artists in our area, space partners and the community. Please enter the building through the center doors (Main Entrance) and come quietly into the Sanctuary for prayer and contemplation.

Although we choose to pray in a particular manner, all are welcomed for silent meditation or contemplation. During weekdays, the Sanctuary is usually available before or after for extended quiet time.

Open Sanctuary and Meditation Garden

Our grounds are a peaceful oasis in a quiet neighborhood minutes from 395 and King Street in Alexandria. We invite you to take a walk, sit and meditate and enjoy the beauty of God’s creation.

Our sanctuary is open Monday - Friday 11:00 am - 6:00 pm.  You are welcome to take advantage of this peaceful space for prayer, solitude and meditation.

Sculpture Garden

We have plans to develop a sculpture garden over the next few years. We welcome donations, ideas and volunteers for landscape development and sculpture.
