Convergence is your space, your place. But, it is more than that - it is a home, a community of artists, arts organizations, neighbors, faith communities, and creative people of all ages, colors, sizes and shapes converging in a unique place where who we are is being created together as we go along.

The Sanctuary is just that - a venue and gallery space inviting visitors and members to take time to "fill the well" - breathe and enjoy the power and beauty of the creative process.

The Lab is an experimental venue and workspace encouragine collaboration, inspiration and creation through shared space. Visual artists, musicians, writers, dancers, thespians, and a host of others work in the studio, have open mics, do staged readings, rehearse, perform, colloborate, and anything else you can imagine.

We are conveniently located between 395 and King Street on Quaker Lane. We sit on the border of Alexandria and Arlington minutes from both Shirlington Old Town Alexandria.

From DC

Take 395 S. Take the GLEBE RD / VA-120 exit- EXIT 7- toward SHIRLINGTON. Veer to the left and take the ramp toward Quaker Lane . Merge onto Quaker Lane . At the top of the hill take a left on Crestwood Drive . Turn right into the parking lot.

From Virginia; Glebe Rd

Take Glebe Rd south , take a right on Shirlington. Follow to 395 entrance. Merge onto Quaker Lane . At the top of the hill take a left on Crestwood Drive . Turn left into the parking lot.

From Virginia; South

Take 395 N. Exit King Street towards Old Town. Take a left after the Bradlee Shopping Center onto Quaker Lane. Take a right onto Crestwood Drive. Turn right into the parking lot.
